Approval of Minutes: Approval of minutes of meeting on February 6, 2016; moved, Joan; seconded, Sheila. PASSED
No discussion required, per Voris. Jeff Gospe provided current financials in advance of the 3/19 board meeting, which were distributed to members of the board (current Balance Sheet as of 3/19/2016 and current Income Statement for Jan. 1 thru Mar. 19, 2016). You can view the financial report here
Donated trees update: Sheila is caretaking 100 trees for the community, if anyone would like to come by her residence to pick up, call 987-9326 to make arrangements. Sheila will send Jax email with PDF’s for USDA planting guides for California Buckeyes and White Oaks trees. These trees are for the residents of AS.
Neighborhood Watch Program: The ASCA Board appointed Cheryl Engels to lead the neighborhood watch in AS. Joan to contact Cheryl to request she give a presentation to the community at the next AS community meeting on April 16th.
Discussion of developing a presentation to go before the BOS, then a letter writing campaign. Jax to develop letter to AS residents regarding plot information in regards to rebuild efforts.
Team Lake County. ASCA to upload information to the Yahoo Group for the ASHA.
Voris discussed Megan’s Law List and resolution of impact on AS community.
Guest: Ray Ruminski of Environmental Health Department – County of Lake
Ray Ruminski, Director of Environmental Health attended ASCA meeting to discuss the starting of assessments in AS and sewer update. Ray, briefly went over plot information and challenges. Ray informed ASCA of new Chief Building Inspector for LC will be Mr. Coates and that Scott DeLeon, Director of Water Resources will also be heading the Planning & Development Department due to the resignation of the Planning Director, Richard Coel.
